BCG s Energy Practice Area supports companies and organizations to shape and transition the energy industry towards a low carbon future. Our key focus is on private and public sector steps to accelerate the energy transition. Clients we serve include oil and gas companies, power and utilities corporations, renewables companies, tech companies, governments etc. We provide the expertise and capabilities to enable organizations to successfully navigate times of disruption and rapid change in a new emerging energy future.

We are seeking a strong candidate with a passion for exploring effective approaches to professional services marketing and a desire to shape the energy narrative in the marketplace through impactful content development and campaigns. We are a small but dynamic Energy practice marketing team with focus on developing an impactful position for BCG and strong client engagement.

The Energy Marketing manager will primarily be focused on supporting the development of our content agenda (thought leadership and commercial content), developing social media campaigns and assets to amplify BCG s thought leadership primarily on our Energy LinkedIn page and to continue the growth of followers and engagement rate.

In addition, the right candidate will support us creating and preparing high quality internal and external communications using Salesforce, Outlook, and other potential collaboration tools.

Finally, the marketing manager will provide varying levels of strategic, operational, and logistics support for priority external engagement programs (i.e., 3rd party events).
YOU RE GOOD AT
The ideal candidate has an interest in B2B marketing, a motivation to work in energy and an understanding of business basics. In addition, the role requires strong analytical skills combined with excellent writing and communication skills, as well as design and LinkedIn skills. Given the nature of the role, English proficiency, multitasking, and time management are essential. Finally, the right candidate will be flexible and independent with proven ability to work in a virtual team environment spanning different time zones.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
5-7 years of relevant marketing experience in a professional services environment
Experience at BCG or similar management consulting environment a plus
Bachelor s degree with demonstrated academic achievement
Knowledge of marketing systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
Experience working with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Sprinklr
Must have excellent written and oral English skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage all levels of seniority
Self-starter and good at prioritizing
Demonstrated organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple parallel tasks
Commitment to execution and attention to detail
YOU LL WORK WITH

BCG s marketing team drives the firm s reputation as a thought leader. We work to strengthen and protect BCG s brand, advance our business agenda, and partner with management to engage with our key audiences through tools such as global thought-leadership publications, public relations, alumni outreach, recruitment marketing, and social media.

The marketing manager will work as part of our virtual marketing team across the world and different time zones, but also collaborate with colleagues from across BCG s global centers of expertise. The role reports to and collaborates closely with the global marketing director for the energy practice.
