People & Culture Manager
Position Purpose
Manage and organize all activities related to Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Diversity Equity, Inclusion and Employee Engagement. Implementing overall recruiting strategies, talent management processes in line with JTI Iberia business needs. Working closely with all relevant stakeholders to coordinate Talent Management and L&D agenda and actions, which are a vital element of the new Building Leadership Capability approach. Be a point of contact for all talent management activities (including talent acquisition, performance management, career planning & development, and employees engagement).
Main Areas of Responsibility
BUSINESS PARTNERING
Proactively and independently support line managers and heads of following departments: Iberia Marketing & CoS, SP, P&C BP in identifying key people, business and organization challenges & opportunities, and partners with stakeholders to ensure effective solutions are developed and implemented from the beginning to end.
AGILE POOL
Leverage agile methodologies to lead and support Local and Corporate Projects across various Talent and broader P&C areas for the Iberian markets.
TALENT ACQUISITION
Ensure that recruitment efforts in the Iberia markets align with both current and future business needs, ensuring timely and effective fulfillment of all hiring requirements. Partner with line/hiring managers to identify and address recruitment needs. Collaborate closely with the Global Business Services (GBS) as the outsourced recruitment center, following global ARCI guidelines. Manage external recruitment processes only when appropriate, in coordination with JTI policies and best business practices.
TALENT MANAGEMENT
Maximize employee potential through exceptional Talent Management practices. Manage the following processes across all Iberia markets:
Global/Local leadership and development programs
Development Plans
Performance Appraisal/Management
Talent Review/Succession Planning
Lead various talent-related initiatives and ensure comprehensive reporting within this domain
CULTURE, INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL EMPLOYER BRANDING
Implement global and local strategies to enhance brand awareness and establish JTI as a leading employer in Iberia ensuring that we continue to maintain our position as the Top Employer, maintain employee engagement by organizing and coordinating surveys and global projects like EES, Pulse Check, Inspire, etc.
LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
Act in accordance with Our Way values (Start with us, Make it count, Welcome challenge and Shape tomorrow today) and promote them in the business culture. Collaborate closely with the global L&D team to leverage opportunities for the growth and development of Iberia talent. Select and implement appropriate learning methods (e.g., mentoring/coaching, on-the-job training, digital, classroom) and explore new learning approaches. Identify and assess current and future learning needs in partnership with line managers and the local executive committee. Develop and execute local L&D strategies and programs, fostering a self-directed learning approach among employees. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of learning programs.
DIVERSITY EQUITY AND INCLUSION
Managing the diversity Equity and inclusion intiatives such as GES (Equal Pay and Equal Opportunities), Internship Programs (Bright Up, Make it Bright), Silver Talent, etc in order to assure the grant of certifications and compliance within these programs.
OTHER TASKS
Actively participate in the budgeting process for Iberia markets across all relevant areas. Track and report on all associated costs to ensure accurate financial oversight.
Oversee the continuous update and analysis of various KPIs within the talent pool to ensure timely action and maintain control over performance outcomes.
Experience Required
University Degree; a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources is highly valued
5+ years of solid experience in a related field, preferably within an international company
Fluency in English and Spanish is required
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and SAP
Business travel required inside Iberian Cluster as per business needs
