As Project Management & HR Intern, you’ll support our Head of HR & Hospitality in the mornings, and our Project Manager on tech project in the afternoons.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resources:
Assist in recruitment: drafting job and internship descriptions, posting job and internship ads, screening applications, arranging interviews, participating in interviews, completing reference checks, drafting offers, and more
Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of team members
Assist in keeping our performance system on track by arranging regular performance reviews and collecting everyone’s OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
Participate in the end-of-month payroll and admin process
Manage HR admin tasks such as registering vacation and remote work requests
Assist in the organization of team events
Assist in the launch of new HR initiatives
Complete various HR research on work law, for benchmark purposes, and more
Depending on your bandwidth and interest, assist in other departments projects (marketing, business development, tech, etc)

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our technology-driven projects:
Conduct comprehensive research and benchmark analysis to set the stage for innovative projects.
Contribute to the development of detailed project strategies based on your findings, setting the blueprint for our projects.
Project execution:
During projects, youll play a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly:
Engage in early-stage testing to guarantee our project outcomes not only meet but exceed quality expectations, adhering closely to set timelines and goals.
Post project:
After project deployment, youll have a critical role in post-deployment testing to ensure smooth operation and identify areas for immediate maintenance or enhancements. Additionally, you’ll be involved in writing documentation, focusing on user guides and processes.
Lead the effort in writing up guides and detailed instructions on how our tools work and how they should be used.
Conduct thorough post-launch testing to pinpoint and address any immediate issues, ensuring optimal functionality.
Provide valuable feedback and innovative ideas for ongoing enhancements, helping us elevate our technological projects.
Some of the projects you will be involved in are:
Youll contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our website, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Help refine our in-house tools like the Guest Online Check-in and Owner’s App, ensuring they’re better than ever in each update.
Work on automating processes across the company, increasing efficiency across the board.
KEY INFORMATION ON THE INTERNSHIP
Internship start: flexible
You’ll get 10 days of paid vacation during your internship
We have a flexible home office policy: with us, youll work at the office two days per week - the rest of the time, its up to you
Paid internship: 600€/month

ABOUT YOU
The must-haves:
You are currently enrolled in or have just finished your studies in hospitality or business administration/management; we are offering a becario, i.e. an agreement between the university, yourself and Emerald Stay
You have at least 6 months of experience in a working environment, preferably in English
You have impeccable speaking and writing skills in English
You are comfortable with changes - things may evolve quickly as Emerald Stay is a fast growing company
You are tech-savvy
You are positive, caring and trustworthy
You can work well independently and have a strong team spirit
You have a can-do attitude and are solutions oriented
You are eligible to work in Spain without visa sponsorship
You can provide a becario agreement
Strongly preferred:
You are fluent in French and/or Spanish
The nice-to-haves:
You have a previous work experience in HR
You have a previous work experience in project management, ideally in tech
You have worked in hospitality
