QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer perform, develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality for assigned projects. Dedicated to Productivity savings

With an eye for details and problem-solving mind, your role is to ensure our products are meeting the expectations of our users. You are the last line of defense and your sign-off on our releases carries tremendous weight.

What you will do:

· Create, maintain, and execute test cases and associated test plans for assigned projects.

· Generate test execution reports to management and the product team

· Create QA controls and documentation oriented to ensure quality

· Demonstrates intermediate testing skills in specialty area and good testing skills in other areas

· Documents results accurately and reports results tactfully and concisely

· Works on technical projects with moderate scope

· Participate in bug review processes including identifying, documenting and following through on the defect lifecycle

· Accountable for multiple test execution and test runs

· Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters to determine appropriate action

· Work with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge and under general supervision

· Able to correctly assess non-routine situations and make good decisions

· Able to identify true priorities and needs

What you bring in this role:

· BS/MS Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field

· Have 2 – 3 years of experience writing test scripts and executing automated test cases.

· Knowledgeable about Windows operating systems. Programming knowledge – As QA tester you may use programming languages to write tests as necessary

· Problem-solving skills – you like to solve problems from bugs, issues that you detect with your curious mind and passion for digging into how a system/software works

· Teamwork – you will be working with other groups and you should have strong communication skills that allow you to collaborate with others. You are not just

· sitting behind the screen but you bring the problems you saw further to the development team and come with ideas
