What you will do
The Service Technician - Fire Detection will report to the Supervisor Product Support – UK, SA, Nordic and ES. You will be based and work from the local office (Madrid) / home whilst carrying out this role. You will support sales and growth initiatives in the ES region by providing technical support for the complete Johnson Controls EN Global Products fire detection business portfolio including addressable and conventional fire detection, PAVA and relevant accessories.
You will be in direct contact with system distributors, installers, commissioning engineers and end-users. As a member of the sales engineering team, you will collaborate very closely with sales, customer service, inside sales, marketing, training, and R&D.
This is a temporary vacancy (One Year) for the temporary leave of one of our current employees.
How you will do it
Provide product support to customers and sales teams
Support the full product range fire detection Systems using the JCI fire detection software tools to provide solutions to site and or to satisfy customer requirements including PAVA systems
Communicate with consultants, designers, project managers, and end users
Advice and support projects by applying solutions according to international codes & standards (such as EN, BS, NFPA, UL)
What we are looking for…
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or relevant experience in the fire detection industry
Minimum 5 years working experience in fire detection industry
Good level of English and Spanish
