Position Description
We are looking for a software developer interested in medical imaging software in the field of neurosurgery. You will join with our software development team to develop the next generation of our StereoDiver product line ie. the stereotactic workflow for epilepsy surgery deep brain stimulation laser ablation and open skull resection. You will be involved in 3D volumetric interaction automatic segmentation and path planning tissue characterization quantification and export of data to devices used in the planning and operating rooms. You will work from the algorithm level to the user interface.
Main responsibilities
Design and development of clinically usable 2D and 3D tools for our StereoDiver product.
Evaluation of the user experience identify improvements and implement them.
Implement I/O solutions to interoperate with intraoperative medical equipment (Robots PACS Neuronavigators).
Position Requirements
Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or similar.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in C++ programming.
Experience in VTK MITK wxWidgets or other GUI frameworks programming is an asset.
Experience in the use and development of medical imaging applications is an asset.
Capacity to work in an English language environment.
